DR. C. TERRELL CUMMINGS
Dr. C. Terrell Cummings is a native of Tallahassee, Florida. After receiving his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Florida, he matriculated to Harvard Medical School where he earned his M.D. degree. He completed his internship in general surgery from Washington University in St. Louis and transitioned into the field of anesthesiology, completing his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Cummings joins Momentum Spine and Joint after completion of his fellowship training in interventional pain management at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
His clinical interest includes the use of fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided techniques to target pain as well as pharmacologic management of pain syndromes. He has affiliations with the North American Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine as well as the American Society of Anesthesiology. He has also been an active member of the National Medical Association with efforts to increase minority retention in medical schools in Texas.
In his free time, Dr. Cummings enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events, concerts and theatrical productions. He is an active member of his church and regularly volunteers with various community organizations in his free time.
