INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MANAGEMENT

Dr. Nguyen is triple Board Certified in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, and Emergency Medicine. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management. He has also completed a residency in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Nguyen is from Houston and proud to return to serve the people of Houston and surrounding regions.

Dr. Nguyen went to college at The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with Honors. He then completed medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas and El Paso, Texas. After, he completed his Emergency Medicine residency at The University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center. He gained extensive training and benefited from practicing in both private and academic hospitals.

Dr. Nguyen served as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He pursued further training with a second residency in Anesthesiology at The University of Texas Medical Branch and expanded his skills set with an Interventional Pain Management fellowship at Texas A&M Health Sciences Center at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Dr. Nguyen has been trained by some of the world’s experts in all three of his medical specialties.

He continues to also be an adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M Health Sciences Center Department of Anesthesiology where he is actively involved with many of the residents and fellows and academic projects. Dr. Nguyen has also published multiple articles and presentations in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, and Emergency Medicine. These presentations and articles have been published in numerous national and international medical journals and conferences.
