Dr. Li’s illustrious academic journey began at Peking Union Medical College, China’s premier medical institution, where he earned his medical degree. He furthered his academic pursuits with a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology and Molecular Genetics from The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Science, affiliated with MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Health Science Center.

With extensive postgraduate training, Dr. Li honed his skills through prestigious fellowships and residencies, including a Complex Brain and Spine Tumor Surgery Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center and a Spine Fellowship at the State University of New York. His expertise spans complex neurosurgical procedures, with a particular focus on brain and spine tumors.
